Ted Bundy wasn’t your typical serial killer. Bundy was a cold-blooded, heartless human being. Bundy denied his crimes for more than 10 years, but he later admitted to the murders of over 30 young women and girls in seven states. Bundy’s attractive looks allowed him to attract young women to him, leading to their deaths. Bundy began to take a darker path in his personality early on. Bundy would steal cars and homes, and he was a thief. Bundy became a troubled child after his adoption. His murderous rampage began in 1974. Bundy was charged with 36 murders, many of which occurred in multiple states between 1974-1978. Many believe that his murder was closer to 100. Ted Bundy’s killer is known to everyone today. Because of his horrific murders, Ted will be remembered forever.

Bundy’s serial killers are notorious for their brutality and horrific murders. Bundy often pretended to be disabled in order to lure his victims. Bundy would make it seem like he was struggling to move heavy furniture. Young women would help, and in the end, he would disappear. Their final mistake would come down to their generosity of spirit. Bundy would hit his victims on the head if they helped him. He then would knock them over and handcuff them, before driving away. Bundy was known as a control/power serial killer. He needed to have complete control over his pleasure to feel the joy he so desperately craved. Bundy enjoyed the ability to control how quickly or how they would die when he was killing them. Bundy didn’t kill for lust. His main motive was to be able to control the victims. Bundy might still take an interest in the bodies of his victims even after they were killed. He would return to them for sex, which gave him power over their bodies. Bundy was responsible in the murder of many young girls. Bundy needed power and control in order to continue carving. Ted Bundy did not commit any crimes, he was intelligent. However, guns were too loud and left behind traces, which Ted Bundy never liked. Based on his college success, his IQ was over 130. If the hammer or crown didn’t kill him immediately, he would usually strangle them. He would dispose off the bodies in many different ways once they had died. He stated that most of his bodies would go in rivers or canyons, but he could also leave them out in the open. Some bodies police found included skeletons. However, some skeletons did not contain all the victims’ remains. Despite Ted Bundy’s claim of killing 36 people, police found additional bodies that could have been linked to other deaths. Ted kept jewelry as trophies and gave them to his female friends after his murders. These trophies would keep Ted’s fantasy alive and remind him of his victims. The dog will return its favorite toy to its owner when it captures it. The joy of returning a personal item to its owner or friend would make it more enjoyable for him. He would often give jewelry to friends and later see them wear it. He would fantasize about how the jewel was obtained. Bundy would even fantasize about how he raped and killed to get it.

Bundy was driving a 1974 Chevrolet Impala. Bundy was stopped by police and taken into custody. Bundy was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Bundy managed to escape prison twice after a few years. Both were in 1977. Bundy was serving as Bundy’s lawyer in the case of murdering a woman from Colorado. He managed to get out of his car through the window, but was captured later that week. Police confirmed Bundy’s escape through a hole in Bundy’s cell in December. Later, they discovered that Bundy had attacked four girls at Florida State University’s sorority house. Two of them were killed by him informally. Ted Bundy’s final killing was February 9, when he shot and killed 12-year old Kimberly Leach. Bundy would never again kill. Bundy was then arrested by the police in February.

Ted Bundy did not have sympathy for the murders he committed, as most people would see him today.

Ted was never given the help he required, which ultimately led to his death. Ted saved many innocent lives. They will always be remembered. Ted Bundy shocked America and changed our perception of serial killers today.
